Dawson Group employees had a fantastic time at the BC Road Builders Summer RoadShow Classic Golf Tournament, held June 20 at The Dunes in Kamloops.
What started as a rainy morning turned into a beautiful afternoon filled with good shots, bad shots, and lots of laughs. Attendees enjoyed a full day of networking, lunch, golf, and a delicious dinner.
One of the highlights was seeing the BC Road Builders’ RoadShow trailer in action. Designed to travel throughout the province, the trailer includes simulator stations that give students and job seekers a hands-on introduction to careers in road maintenance and construction—showcasing the exciting opportunities available in the industry.
The BC Road Builders’ Golf Tournament brought together employees from several Dawson companies. Ian Dawson (Dawson Group), Steven McGillis (Dawson Civil), Jason Shank (Dawson Construction), Len Kazakoff (Dawson Group), Shane Gowans (Dawson Group), Daniel Buchanan (Dawson International Truck Centres), and Scott Dearin (Dawson Road Maintenance) all joined in for a fun, relaxed day on the course alongside fellow industry professionals.
